Bathmate Hydro7 water-powered vacuum pump
Hydro7 is a water-powered vacuum pump for use in the bath or shower. Bathmate's current product page says it is designed for erect lengths up to 7 inches. Measure before choosing, and read the full Hydro7 user guide before first use.
Before use
Hydro7 is intended for one user. Do not use lubricant with the pump because Bathmate instructs users to operate it with water. You must have full use of your hands and enough strength to operate the vacuum-release mechanism. Stay in control of the pump throughout use, and do not use it while asleep or under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Do not use Hydro7 if you have sickle cell disease, a history of prolonged erections, a bleeding disorder, take blood-thinning medicine, or have reduced pain sensation in the penis. Ask a doctor before use if you have symptoms of erectile dysfunction, diabetes, multiple sclerosis, liver cirrhosis, chronic kidney failure, alcoholism, increased heart or breathing rates, heart or lung disease, high blood pressure, a history of stroke, epilepsy, urinary, kidney, bladder or genital problems, or leukaemia. Vacuum pumping may aggravate Peyronie's disease, priapism or urethral strictures.
Safer use
Warm up for a few minutes in a warm bath or shower. Place the flaccid penis inside the water-filled pump, keep the testicles clear of the seal, and apply only the minimum vacuum needed to create an erection. Pumping too vigorously or applying excessive vacuum can cause bruising or injury.
Bathmate instructs users to remove the pump every 2 to 3 minutes, allow the penis to retract, massage it while flaccid for 2 minutes, then repeat. Do this no more than three times within one 15-minute session, and never use the pump for more than 15 minutes in any 24-hour period.
To release the vacuum, press the valve cap inward to activate the quick-release mechanism before sliding the pump off. Stop immediately if you experience severe pain or discomfort, and consult a doctor. Vacuum pumps can bruise or rupture blood vessels in the penis or scrotum.
Cleaning and storage
Before first use, wash the pump with warm soapy water and rinse it thoroughly. Use the same method for ongoing cleaning. Allow it to dry, then store it in a dry place away from direct sunlight.
